This was inspired by the bonsai tree my brother bought for his girlfriend last Christmas and which, despite careful nurturing, died a few weeks later. Fortunately, they seem to be having better luck with the baby that arrived in February...

Illustrations

Way back last year I did a series of illustrations to go with a theme for the Boulder art blog. Here are three of them.

Colour Work

Saw the BBC Planet Earth episode where one tribe of chimps attacks another tribe and kills and eats some of them. Thought it deserved a more dramatic treatment, so I came up with this progression.

Did some BGs for the Slacker Cats pilot. I think you can see it on Youtube.

El Tigre Backgrounds

El Tigre was a fast-paced little cartoon set in a fictional city in Mexico. As well as some snappy dialogue, it also had a lot of explosions and spontaneous demolition. For example, a nice doorway scene...

Intro
